This week our #TeamTableCraft spotlight is on Lindsay from our accounting department. She answered a bunch of our silly questions including what she’s filling her new kitchen with, where she’d go on a dream trip and what she’d choose for a superpower — and it all added up (bad accounting pun). What’s your title at TableCraft?
Accounts Receivable Clerk
What exactly would you say you do here? (hopefully you read that like the guy from Office Space)
I mainly focus on all cash postings which includes all ACH payments, Lockbox and Wires. After I post cash, I work on trying to get repayment for any deductions or issue a credit memo for the ones that are unable to be repaid.
What values do you try to uphold in and out of the office?
The value I try to uphold the most in and out of the office is just to be a kind, genuine person. When working with customers I always try my best to have an easy-going personality.
Favorite part of working at TableCraft?
My favorite part of working at TableCraft is honestly the co-workers I get to work with. I have made some great friendships since I started working here.
Describe TableCraft in 3 words?
Teamwork, customer-focused, supportive
What is your favorite TableCraft product? What do you like about it?
I love everything in the CroftHouse Collection! I just recently moved into my first home and ordered a bunch of items from that collection. Definitely going to have a TableCraft kitchen!
What is our most-used kitchen tool?
Wooden spoons — we use them all the time when cooking.
What’s your favorite meal?
I am always down to have a good plate of spaghetti! My husband is the cook in our marriage and I am always asking him to make it for me.
When you’re out with friends, what is your go-to drink?
My favorite drink when I am out with my friends would have to be Malibu with pineapple and cranberry juice. It’s like going to the beach in a glass!
What are you currently binging; i.e. TV show, movie series or podcast?
My husband and I just started getting into “Parks and Recreation” which I regret not starting a long time ago because it is hilarious!
Do you have a hidden talent?
Well, I don’t want to brag, but, I am pretty good at quoting lines from “The Office.” I have lost count how many times I have seen every episode. Lol
If you could choose one superpower, what would it be and why?
I would say teleportation. It would save me so much time and money for gas, for sure.
Favorite place you’ve ever traveled?
My favorite place I have ever traveled would be to the Grand Canyon. Seriously, so beautiful!
Name your dream travel destination and why.
My dream travel destination would be Italy. It just looks like such a beautiful place to visit, and, of course to try all the amazing food there! 😊
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
When life gets hard, don’t get mad or get even but be better and remind yourself the kind of person you really are and want to be.
