Willy Wonka movie poster

Name: Brian
Title: Direct of Product Development
Movie: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (I prefer the original with Gene Wilder, not the Tim Burton version, but to each their own)
Snack of choice: S’mores Dip

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory — I love the intricately woven sarcasm, the classic songs, but most of all, I love the underdog story of a poor young boy who, against all odds, won by being good and honest and doing what was right (and who saved his life by burping). It’s fun to watch, laugh, sing along, and learn a sneaky, great lesson about the importance of integrity.
Snack: For movie watching, I love a good box of classic Mike & Ikes, but a fun family snack is to make S’mores dip. Just layer milk chocolate bars and marshmallows in a cast iron skillet (like our CW30104) and bake (around 350F) until it becomes soft and dippable all the way through, and the marshmallows on top are nice and charred golden brown. Serve with graham crackers for dipping and, of course, be very careful because the mixture is molten hot!

Movie-Nite In: We asked the TableCraft team to give us the scoop on how they do movie night in. They told us their favorite movie, yummiest treat and what TableCraft product they use to make it happen. We’d love to hear from you in the comments.

How do you do movie night in? What do you use to set the scene? Share in the comments below.
