Say hi to Kerry! Our spotlight subject, Kerry, works on our procurement team. We asked her a bunch of questions about what she likes about working at TableCraft these last five years, what tools she uses at home and to reveal a hidden talent — which we’ll be asking her to demonstrate at our next company party.
What is your name?
What’s your title at TableCraft?
What exactly would you say you do here? (hopefully you read that like the guy from Office Space)
I am on the procurement team as a buyer, managing domestic and international accounts. I also assist with sourcing new products and work closely with our QC and receiving team.
What values do you try to uphold in and out of the office?
Trust and kindness and integrity.
Favorite part of working at TableCraft?
My personal and career growth I have experienced the past five years. TableCraft was my first office job through college, I started as Inside Sales Coordinator five years ago and transitioned to the Purchasing Team almost two years ago now. I knew absolutely nothing about purchasing but they trusted my ability to learn and I have grown to love a different side of the business. Not to mention, all my bosses have been AWESOME! 😊
Describe TableCraft in 3 words?
Reliable, Driven, Teamwork
What is your favorite TableCraft product? What do you like about it?
Squeeze bottles and plastic baskets, due to the strong relationship I have with our vendors. <3
What is our most-used kitchen tool?
TableCraft Grippy Cutting Board
What’s your favorite meal?
Steak and Potatoes!! TableCraft’s FirmGrip peelers work great, btw!
When you’re out with friends, what is your go-to drink?
Vodka Sprite 😊
Do you have a hidden talent?
I can do backflips.
If you could choose one superpower, what would it be and why?
To know all languages so I could understand everyone, everywhere.
