Succulents in a sunny window get centerstage in this week’s TableCraft Outside the Box, care of Amy our graphic designer. How do you upgrade three supermarket succulents? Surprisingly, we have a solution.
Amy: I found these three little potted succulents in the clearance area of my grocery store. They look like they’d been there for a while and I just felt for them. They were crying “take me home, Amy!” So in the cart they went.
My husband was a tad surprised when he spotted them while putting the groceries away later — I’m not known for my green thumb skills — but I’m motivated to make it work with these three little orphans. I didn’t have a flowerpot in the house, but I did have our vintage-style glass set (FLGLASS4) sitting nearby. Their pots just fit and I love how the light filters through the bottom of the glass.
Will they make it? I hope so … but they sure look good now!

At TableCraft, we often think “outside the box” to provide new solutions to our customers’ needs, and sometimes the solutions find us! And that’s what the OUTSIDE THE BOX (OSTB) TableTalk blog series is all about — spotlighting those nontraditional, yet practical, uses for TableCraft products submitted by our staff and friends.
